Analyzes credit documents, including mortgage applications, credit history, and income documents, and title documents. Approves or declines loans within limits of assigned authority. Communicates decision to appropriate individuals within the Company upholding fair lending practicesREQUIREMENTS: Active DE/CHUMS and active LAPP and SAR are required Minimum of 5+ years of experience underwriting government loans. Underwriting Renovation 203K loans are a strong plus! Experience using VA IRRRL Worksheet to calculate max loan amount Currently underwriting USDA loans Experience working in Correspondent, Wholesale, or Retail required.
