Sourcing Manager

Position Overview: EnerDel designs, builds and manufactures lithium-ion energy storage solutions and battery systems with a focus on heavy duty transportation, on- and off-grid electrical, mass transit and task-oriented applications. The Sourcing Manager will be primarily responsible for battery "pack material" procurement and will be heavily involved with inventory management. The position includes supervisory duties for the EnerDel Procurement team. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, have a minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive supply chain roles, show a proficiency in best procurement practices, and understand the basics of manufacturing materials. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required. Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent 5 years'' experience in progressive supply chain roles Time management & Planning/Organizing: Ability to work in a very fast paced environment, while ensuring continuity of supply for manufacturing parts and accuracy of inventory. Prioritize and follow-up effectively both internally and externally. Business acumen & savvy: Use processes to build and improve work. Understands the entire procurement and inventory control process, from initial vendor selection to delivery execution, including PPAP, cycle counting best practices, and other key metrics and processes. Initiative and teamwork: Comfortable and effective in interacting with all areas and levels of the organization to drive organizational goals and objectives. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills. Results oriented and able to effectively drive towards desired outcomes. Technical expertise/knowledge: Working knowledge of the entire Procurement and Inventory Control process. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite of Office products. Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics) experience is a plus.
