They offer excellent benefits and are financially stable and the industry is recession proof'' ''Great work environment and people are super friendly and willing to help you'' ''Family Atmosphere, supportive team, devoted to growing employees'' Overview of the AP Specialist role: Performs vendor payment reconciliation, manages vendor relations, and builds effective partnerships Investigates and resolves problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders Prepares invoices/credits from vendors for payment by: verifying accuracy, contacting vendors, Product Management, or DC''s for information as needed. Invoices may be processed manually or via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Assists Accounts Payable Manager to identify and implement process improvements Assists with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation Preferred Qualifications for the AP Specialist: Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook Some hands on accounting experience Ability to work within a team-based environment and work independently Timing is everything.
