Immigration Paralegal

BUSINESS IMMIGRATION PARALEGALA global law firm is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal for its Miami, FL office. Working in a collegial team-oriented environment, our paralegals perform challenging and substantive legal work. Paralegals works under the direction of an attorney, assisting employers in sponsoring foreign workers for immigration benefits. Duties include direct client contact, preparing and filing nonimmigrant visa petitions and green card applications. Qualified candidates should possess the following:Strong background in PERM, EB-1, I-140s, and I-485s. Must be able to identify potential issues arising in and working on EB-2 and EB-3 cases.Background in H-1B, L-1, E-3, E-2, O-1 and TNs is also required . Those with both NIV and IV experience will be considered first.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent Corporate client contact.Must be organized, detail oriented, responsive and have excellent follow through skills.Must be able to multi-task, work independently, track cases, prepare case and client reports, and work with electronic immigration programs (i.e. LawLogix, etc.).Ability to work well under pressure and work effectively and with clients, attorneys and staff.A positive attitude and client service disposition is a must for this position.Firm offers innovative solutions to the legal and business challenges presented by today''s evolving global markets.
