PLANT ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshooting of steam operations, compressed air, and other plant utilities. Optimization of the plant utility systems. Reviewing/updating procedures. Facilitating contract operations for utilities. Providing operations support to the unit specialists and operators. Directly interfacing with manufacturing unit personnel both within and outside the Utilities department. The individual will work closely with operations people in various manufacturing and support groups. Oversee the use of contracted services at the facility involving water chemistry, Network services support, pest control and others. Support/lead/manage targeted projects from the operations or site Manager. Update Site Utilities Standard Operating Procedures and Lock Out / Tag Out. Maintain a safe & environmentally sound working environment.
