Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.Job Description:Responsible for performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.QualificationsJob Requirements:Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School or one (1) year of on-the-job experience in a major operating room.Experience: One (1) year ORT job experience in major operating room may replace OR Technical School requirement. License/Certification:Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.2185, sec. 1(c) "Engaged in the practice of surgical technology in a health care facility before January 1. 2018". Current BLS Certification. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.Note:Employees hired after January 1, 2018 into this position without CST must receive approval from the Market Human Resource Director.
