The Financial Reporting Accountant will primarily be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate consolidated monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP including balance sheet, income statement, statement of shareholders equity, and statement of cash flows. In the preparation of the financial statements, this role will perform the month-end close and consolidation process, including the consolidation of international subsidiaries. The role will prepare work papers and documentary evidence developed in support of the SEC filings and SOX controls and work directly with Internal and External audit to assist in their quarterly procedures over this evidence. In addition, the role will provide support to the SEC reporting team primarily through financial statement variance analysis and other support as needed.Essential Job FunctionsAccountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results25% - Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting package.20% - Perform quarterly financial statement variance analyses.15% - Preparation of monthly and quarterly reconciliations of intercompany and internal equity accounts.15% - Provide support to the external reporting team.10% - Field questions from Internal and External Audit over the quarterly close and consolidations process and controls.10% - Perform other ad hoc analyses and special projects as required.5% - Works with colleagues in the accounting and internal controls teams to ensure appropriate controls and processes are in place.Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.Education:Bachelor''s degree in AccountingExperience:3+ years work experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting role for a public/private company.Previous experience with multi-unit organizations with foreign operations is a plus.Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:CPA, preferredStrong and extensive knowledge of US GAAPExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.% Travel Required (Approximate): 5%
