Growth Opportunity - Our division is growing, and will need leaders as we expand our business unit.Job DetailsMust Have: 2+ years of experience in the Energy industry 2+ years designing utility-scale Solar / Battery Energy Storage Projects.Core Responsibilities: Owner''s engineering services for electric utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to support new utility-scale solar and/or battery energy storage projects. Common tasks include: - Preparing conceptual electrical designs to support grid interconnection applications - Providing technical support during the grid interconnection process - Preparing technical specifications to support EPC solicitations - Evaluating EPC proposals to assist selection of preferred EPC contractors - Reviewing EPC submittals including design criteria, major equipment procurement specifications, electrical design drawing packages, supporting calculations, commissioning procedures, key equipment test reports, etc. Independent engineering and technical due diligence services for project financing or asset acquisition of new solar and/or energy storage projects. Common tasks include: - Reviewing battery energy storage project use case studies - Evaluating solar and/or battery energy storage technologies - Evaluating project execution plans from EPC contractors - Reviewing project contracts including PPA, EPC, and O&M agreements - Reviewing project CAPEX, OPEX, and performance parameters in financial models Evaluation of operating solar and/or energy storage assets, including O&M assessmentInterested in hearing more?
