Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic FULL-TIME $28/hr This role will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the electrical and automation equipment we use in beverage production, including motors, industrial wiring, electro-mechanical drives, PLC application software/hardware, and servo motion control applications. Duties include:- Operating and working with all members of the Pack Labs team to work safely, produce products of exceptional quality, and operate profitably.- Communicating effectively with other operators and management, and contributing to a positive workplace.- Participating in overall electrical and mechanical maintenance programs and helping on overhauls, major repairs, etc.- Supporting and managing all control components within a PLC system.- Performing maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment on production and support equipment.- Replacing or repairing defective parts- Incorporates LOTO procedures as required by policy.- Dismantling devices to gain access to impacted areas and repair/remove defective parts.- Determining, by use of regular inspections, the repair, and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.- Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements if the parts are reusable, and what parts, if any need to be ordered.- Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments not performed by machine operators to ensure proper operation.- Duties assigned such as, changeovers, center lining, CI events, and any task that requires a maintenance skillset.- Repairing electrical equipment within the limitations of expertise and training.- Makes recommendations concerning equipment and/or procedure modifications.- Performing and assuring all duties are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.
