In this role, you will identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with line managers. Our employees are driven and animated by the Borrego System of Excellence, an operating framework detailing our mission, vision, strategy, and cultural principles and working systems.About the RolePosition Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Curriculum development and training in safety policies and procedures, Borrego O&M standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices, and solar/energy storage/electrical technical trainingDeploy a wide variety of training methods to ensure training programs'' effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary to deliver training solutions that meet business needs.Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.Ensure that work being performed meets or exceeds Borrego Solar O&M standards.Ensure that the Borrego Solar O&M Special Projects department is meeting all contractual obligations. (i.e. meeting terms and conditions outlined in each signed Special Project contract.)Ensure that Borrego is meeting all local, state and federal regulations required to complete each signed contract.Track and report to both management and customers on the progress of pending work, work in progress, completed work and invoicing status for each Special Project.Coordinate with Regional Managers to identify potential Special Project within Borrego''s O&M fleet.Scope, price, develop and submit proposals to customers for Special Projects.Manage the cost of ongoing Special Projects to ensure that they are within defined budgets.Develop an annual Special Projects budget and plan against which to track progress.Coordinate with Accounting to develop and submit invoicing on a monthly addition, the Director of Special Projects, O&M will play a critical safety role by completing the following tasks:Read, understand and sign all safety procedures.Attend weekly safety plete all required safety training.Receive, inspect, and maintain all required PPE.Ensure every safety incident is reported timely and accurately.Ensure every safety incident is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are pensation, Benefits, and CultureBorrego uses an internally equitable and externally competitive total cash approach to compensation.
