It''s a good time to be with Miele! In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop/laptop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting internal and external Miele employees. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company''s PCs, printers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations. Position will be full time based out of our Princeton, NJ Headquarters as well as remotely. Responsibilities: Provide helpdesk support via phone, email, in-person, or through Remedy Ticket Tracking software and resolve problems to the end user''s satisfaction Provide guidance and support for all applications used, such as: SAP HANA, SAP Power BI, & SAP Business Warehouse Windows Active Directory Windows Web Services & SQL Databases Microsoft Office 365 Suite MS Teams & MS Skype - communication & collaboration platforms SharePoint 365 MS Windows 10 Desktop & MS Sever 2016 & up, & MS Hyper-V Apple IPHONE IOS 14.x Avaya and/or Genesys Telcom Systems Basic Network trouble shooting and understanding Monitor Remedy (ticket software) for tickets assigned to the queue and process timely. Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for local workstations Document internal procedures as directed Assist with onboarding of new users - including account creation and hardware setup. Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software Maintain inventory of all equipment and advise when replenishments are necessary Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Assist inter-department groups as needed and directed Demonstrated commitment to detail and follow-through Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities Ability to work remotely (must have home internet) Other tasks as directed Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to gather & analyze information regarding technical issues Professionalism Ability to work collaboratively Manage difficult or emotional customer situations due to technology Effective communication: verbal, written and customer service skills High-speed home internet connection Preferred Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications, or related field And/or at least 2 years of relevant technical experience Why you might like working here: You love autonomy and the accountability for results You like working for a family run company, market leader in the premium domestic appliance.
