Configuration Technician

Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Configuration Technician for one of our clients in the Las Vegas area as well as in Vernon Hills,IL. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm that works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations. Job Description: The Configuration Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring hardware and software on a high volume of computers, printers, and other products for customers on a daily basis. This will include unboxing units to configure and box units back up to prepare for shipment. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required A+ certification or equivalent combination of education and experience with ability to demonstrate knowledge required Net+ certification preferred Knowledge of computer components and configuration of various types of computers, as demonstrated by previous experience building and installing computers preferred Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems Ability to quickly learn about new technology and keep pace with an ever-changing industry Ability to assemble and disassemble computer equipment, mechanically inclined Obtain certifications and continually learn new technology Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of force frequently and 26 to 50 pounds of force occasionally Demonstrate ability to push and pull up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Demonstrate ability to perform eight or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, and carrying products in combination at any given time Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts 2 nd Shift(2pm-till close) In order to comply with the Path Out of the Pandemic COVID-19 Action Plan, our client has implemented a policy that requires all employees to be vaccinated.
