Substance Abuse / Mental Health Counselor - Competitive - Cadillac (Wexford County)The RoleCatholic Human Services, an organization providing mental health counselling, substance abuse counselling, community prevention services, pregnancy counselling, open adoption, social services and senior services, are looking for a Substance Abuse / Mental Health CounselorThe successful candidate does not need to be Catholic. They will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in both group and individual settings.The key responsibilities of a Substance Abuse / Mental Health Counselor include, but are not limited to:Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issuesOffer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues.Provide prevention-oriented therapy.Implement and review treatment plans.Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies.Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.The CompanyCatholic Human Services is highly recognized in the 21 counties of Northern Lower Michigan providing mental health counselling, substance abuse counselling, community prevention services, pregnancy counselling, open adoption, social services and senior services.Catholic Human Services employees, nor those who receive its services, need to be Catholic.
