American Hydro is currently looking for MAINTENANCE MANAGER to add to the family at our York, PA facility. We are tight-knit group that takes a great deal of pride in what we produce. The Maintenance Manager works with manufacturing supervisors to coordinate the scheduled maintenance and equipment needs of the shop. This manager is also responsible to attend to machine breakdowns on an immediate basis until the problem is fixed. Provide guidance to direct reports for scheduled and breakdown work orders. Ultimately the Maintenance Manager is responsible to minimize downtime of all shop machinery. This position requires on-call duty, twenty-four hours per day. Ideal Candidate will have experience and skills in but not limited to: • Supervise electricians and mechanics as needed to complete all maintenance functions • Allocate workload based on skill level and development • Ensure that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement/refurbishment • Develop, implement, and review equipment maintenance records and procedures, and ensure implementation • Establish procedures and contracts to ensure timely repairs of equipment which requires minor& major repairs on a frequent basis • Secure major equipment bids and makes recommendations for purchase when replacement of new equipment is required • Work with purchasing and/or directly with outside vendors to monitor inventory and place orders when necessary • Manage relationships with contractors • Maintain CMMS and report on daily activities • Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety • Ensure the appropriate use and proper care of maintenance tools and equipment • Maintain office and shop buildings such as rubber roof leak repairs, lights, interior communications, wiring, etc • Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget Education and/or Experience: Associates degree in related field, with two to five years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two years of experience in a leadership role. CNC mechanical experience with Fanuc/Allen Bradley controls preferred. Prior maintenance manager experience in a similar type of manufacturing environment preferred.
