Medical Technologist Laboratory

2125 Medical Technologist Dayshift 0700-1530 with weekend coverage every 3rd weekend 13 weeks 40 hours/week. CLS/Med Tech with MT/MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Tech positions MT or MLT able to work chemistry hematology blood bank and microbiology set up/rapid tests. Cerner Pathnet and Beckman chemistry hematology analyzer familiarity. Medical Technologist 77937 Performs chemical microscopic and microbiological test assays and related duties to obtain results for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs related duties in laboratory to include storing and labeling specimens and using manual and automatic equipment to prepare specimens and perform analytical tests. Performs procedures that exclude any to be performed only by licensed clinical laboratory scientists as defined by State licensure regulations. Supervises phlebotomists offers suggestions and provides guidance as needed.
