Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA

An excellent career opportunity is now available at 350 bed non profit Medical Center in Silicon Valley California, actively seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA.Under supervision of the Anesthesiologist, the CRNA will induce anesthesia on patients of all ages. The CRNA will also monitor life support functions during perioperative procedures. The CRNA must be currently licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the state of California.The full time CRNA will be one of six providers sharing call responsibilities. The caseloads include general surgery, OB/ GYN, Orthopedics, urology, ENT, podiatry, Endo/ GI, dental, ophthalmology. Regional anesthesia techniques required include, subarachnoid, epidurals, peripheral nerve blocks. Ultrasound guided vascular access skills required. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics prior to and during surgical or medical procedures.As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will act as a role model and expert in the field. This may include mentoring lower level staff as well as assisting in monitoring patients who have received or are recovering from anesthesia.
