Director of Nursing

A new opening has become available at a 150+ bed acute care facility in Nevada fo a Director of Nursing. This hospital, located right outside of Paradise, is highly known for their professionalism, as well as dedication to their patients. This is an amazing opportunity for a current Director of Nursing overseeing multiple departments over a large role, as well as for a current Manager looking to make the next step in their career, but candidate must have a current NV nursing license that is active. Director of Nursing will report directly up to the Chief Nursing Officer of the hospital, while overseeing multiple department Managers, Supervisors, Charge RN''s and Staff RN''s. The responsibilities for this role will depend, but may include:Responsible for 24 hour management over units assigned Gather all management team members together monthly to discuss departmental needs Training new incoming staffBe a large part of hiring / interview process of new healthcare team membersBe aware of all Nevada nursing laws, and incorporate them within the facilityEnsure all patients are receiving proper care up to hospital standardsThis facility is very confident in their staff members, and need a Director of Nursing to come in and oversee all immediate care with courage and experience.
