Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Test Technician to support a leading Power Supply company in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a company with a great culture!Position Summary:Performs all of the essential duties and responsibilities of the test area, must be familiar and capable of operating power supply test equipment including ATE, oscilloscopes, DVMs, and other standard EE lab equipment, burn-in test.Able to understand and perform HI-POT, Ground Bond and Current leakage test. Experience in the use of hand and small power toolsKey Responsibilities:Set up test for top assembly power supplies and conduct operational testing.Calibration and set up of subassemblies and finished productsMust be able to read schematics, write test programs and conduct electrical test using terpret schematics and analyse test results.Disassemble, conduct troubleshooting from top level assembly to PCBA and to component failures.Must be self-motivated and be able to multitask within defined time limitations.Able to work well in a team setting as well as performing single tasks individuallyOther duties may be assignedKey Qualifications and Skills:Set up and perform bench test or automatic test per work order, test document, test equipment and engineering instructions.Understanding of electrical testing protocols and circuits.Be able to understand electrical circuits and knowledge of products debug process.Properly documents all test findings as required and directed by proceduresMust have 3 to 5 years related experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizationAssociate''s degree (A.A.) desired from two-year college or technical school or equivalent work related experienceWe are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
