Research & Development Technician

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Research & Development Technician in Golden Valley, MN. As a PDS Tech employee, you will be on assignment at Honeywell.Job Description: Technician that can lead assembly of reasonably heavy technical equipment, research and order tools as needed, coordinate with contractors on facility upgrades as needed, perform equipment maintenance and repairs, and be a self-energized independent thinker able to competently juggle multiple priorities. The demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and technical equipment is a must. Having some existing cryogenic experience is a desire, but we are willing to train. Familiar with standard cryogenic, vacuum, or electronic instrumentation concepts preferred. Qualifications: Requires an associates degree and 2-4 years of experience in a research field or in a related area.Familiar with standard cryogenic, vacuum, or electronic instrumentation concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Familiar with standard cryogenic, vacuum, or electronic instrumentation concepts Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, cryogens, and physical risks is anticipated.PDS Tech, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
