Responsibilities Weatherford are looking to hire a Global Mobility Manager who will join our established team based in Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct oversight and management of the Global Mobility and Immigration program in support of the Company''s employees and human resource initatives. The right person for this role will provide leadership and governance in managing the organization''s Global policies and procedures associated with immigration, domestic moves, international assingments, taxation, and human resource support for overseas assignments and expatriates.Roles & Responsibilities Manage the relationship with key stakeholders, business partners to provide support for Global Mobility and Immigration function. Provide expertise on all global mobility matters related to taxes with the ability to influence and advise key stakeholders.Partner with legal immigration vendor to provide guidance and direction to business leaders and HR partners. Globally manage visa/work permits and green card process for employees.Own Mobility and Immigration operational policies, end-to-end processes and overall solutions to meet the needs of our diverse employees and businesses across the globe.Lead the program and operations to provide a premium experience for employees (transferees, local hires and short term and long-term assignees), and to business partners across the globe.Provide assistance to international assignees through coordinating, developing, and/or managing taxes, visa coordination, LOU preparation, and benefits coordination. This includes for the entire assignment life cycle (pre-move to repatriation).Manage and coordinate with external relocation service providers, where appropriate, to ensure exceptional service and seamless relocation of employees.Work with cross function and overseas HR team on tax and immigration compliance.Collaborate with other departments within the company on overall coordination of the Global Mobility Program (Payroll, Tax, Finance, BP&A, Accounts Payable, Travel, etc.)Work with immigration and mobility vendors to continuously refine process and manage costs.Assist with complex cases related to tax, immigration, and relocation related queries raised by our cross-functional teams / HRBPs.Work with legal immigration vendor to monitor and respond to all applicable inquiries including working with employees regarding collection of time sensitive documents and data for various aspects of the immigration process (Letters of Support, Public Access Files, PERM activities, compliance posting requirements, etc.)Manage and maintain relationships with each team/employee with active mobility cases while providing excellent service throughout the process.Manage and own relationships globally with relocation service providers, program vendors, and consultants for services and program prehensive working knowledge of expatriate management, taxes, immigration, and domestic moveSKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong business and HR acumen including excellent decision making, problem-solving skills and critical and analytical thinking.Demonstrates deep tax technical knowledge and provides impactful adviceGrasps complexities and interdependencies of problems or issues and able to effectively navigateExperience with global mobility and tax processes, immigration, vendor management, and systems in APAC, EMEA, and AMER regionsExcellent communication and strong influencing skillsExcellent attention to detail, sense of accuracy and urgencySAFETY,
