We are in search of a CAD Drafter for our Atlanta office to join our diverse and dynamic organization. As a core team member of our Utility Substation Section, you will be interacting with an established group of engineers, designers and drafters, playing a valuable part in executing drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects, using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career; share your resume with us today!In this role, you can expect to grow: With opportunities for both technical and non-technical trainingBy participating in our mentorship programWhat you will bring to the table: HS diploma and/or drafting certificate with 1+ years relevant experience drafting and detailing with AutoCAD 2016/2018 and/or MicroStation V7/V8/V8i.Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures.Proficiency in the ability to manipulate vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work in a team environment Working knowledge of software programs including Autodesk (AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault) and ProjectWiseProficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam.Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.Preferred qualifications:Autodesk inventor 3D Inventor work experienceKnowledge of BOM and the Autodesk vault (database)Substation drafting experience using AutoCADWorking knowledge of ProjectWise is desired.At Leidos, we take care of our employees.
