Job Description

As the Access Coordinator, you''ll ensure accurate assessment and placement of referrals to produce positive outcomes of treatment for patients served in the timeliest manner possible and within the most efficient utilization of available resources. You''ll also conduct referral screening, patient admission, coordination and transitions of care, liaison with county or state referral sources, community outreach, and coordination of pre-authorization processes to ensure a comprehensive ability to collect for services rendered. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in a behavioral sciences field; or a combination of three years relevant work, education, training and experience that would qualify you as a QMHA. At least one year of medical office experience providing customer service. At least one year of experience with medical authorizations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients. Ability to multi-task with strong organizational, decision-making and critical thinking skills.
