This growing healthcare facility has been newly renovated and refurbished, and houses 100+ inpatient beds. The hospital continually receives awards for its excellence in care, and is also on the journey to Magnet status.The Nurse Director Emergency Department will be welcomed to this approximately 20-bed unit by a group of seasoned, tenured professionals committed to providing high quality emergency care. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the RN Director Emergency Services will be responsible for management of daily operations of the department, in addition to management of staffing, budgeting, and department-wide initiatives. Serving as a change agent and role model, the Nurse Director Emergency Department will provide strong hands-on leadership to ER staff, promoting a positive work environment, and serving as a liaison between staff, patients, and family members.This area of Central Texas is known as the capital of Texas hill country!
