Nesco Engineering and IT is currently seeking a Service/Sales Engineer for a Direct opportunity in Tucson, AZ. Summary: The nature of employee''s assignments will be of a magnitude considered as developing to the responsibility of Sales & Service Engineer either by project size or degree of prior experience required. The employee will receive a complaint or notification of a customer problem and then open communication with the customer to resolve the problem. It is the responsibility of the employee to involve the appropriate resources, develop pricing and using any other sources necessary, and develop a solution proposal for submittal to the customer. The nature of the employee''s workload will not normally include addressing technical and commercial specifications, but some expertise in this area will be expected, when necessary and will be addressed in his proposal. The incumbent may receive guidance and direction from the Department Manager, Sales Engineers, and/or Sales Managers. Duties: Promote Pneumatic Transport products and services to achieve Purchase Orders through customer acceptance and industry recognition. Accomplish this by responding immediately to request for assistance with field problems, either by phone or at the customer''s facility; by reviewing all inquiries, communicating with the sales force and responding within 48 hours of receipt of the request or complaint. Ability to write timely, concise, professional reports that supports your findings and recommendations in the field. Provide lists of equipment, parts, and field service labor to rectify customer problem. Promote customer service sales programs, full range of service capabilities, parts/components/programs, and systems. Provide PT technical support to customers and employees Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and vendors. Ability to understand and trouble shoot complex systems, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical and hydraulics sub-systems. Demonstrated experience with hand tools, power equipment, complex machinery, electrical equipment and hydraulic systems. Computer Skills are required (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Skills, AutoCAD, etc). Ability to deliver a professional sales or training seminar to small or large groups. 2-4 years'' experience in the application, design and selling of pneumatic conveying equipment or similar type industrial equipment. Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience Ability to manage oneself and travel demands Excellent oral and written communication skills Valid driver''s license and the ability to obtain/maintain a valid passport with USA work authorization Expert knowledge in machinery and processes Position responsibilities include daily oversight of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement of operational processes including scheduling and executing production for Back End Process. Conducts studies in operations to optimize workflow and space utilization. Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety.
