If you are looking for a stable, fast-paced, growing company in the healthcare industry that is committed to innovation, excellence, and integrity, then this may be a great next step in the advancement of your career.We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Manager Revenue Accounting on our team in Nashville, TN.This is a hybrid remote position, enabling the Manager Revenue Accounting to work between the office several days a week and home.POSITION SUMMARY:The Manager, Revenue Accounting is responsible for recording and analyzing revenues from billing systems, related accounts receivables and valuation allowances. This positions is responsible for optimizing staff performance through process monitoring, policy and procedure implementation, communications and identifying opportunities for improvement through analysis.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and manage activities, including revenue process, accounts receivables, and A/R valuation, etc for the revenue department while assuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations in regards to billing and data management. Manage the authorization, billing and collections staff in handling payer relations, and handle complex customer service issues and complaints. Seek opportunities to streamline month-end close process through process improvements, systems upgrades, policy development and automation to support departmental strategic objectives. Direct the monthly close process to ensure completion within Envision timetables. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly balance sheet and income statement analysis using various tools including Oracle, Hyperion and Analysis Services. Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations; identify variances and propose plan for dispositions. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments. Assist with the preparation of weekly financial forecasts and annual budgets. Manage special projects and performs other job-related duties as assigned. Adhere to Information Security Policies and ensure that Envision remains as secure as possible. Regular and reliable attendance. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, a Manager Revenue Accounting must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.QualificationsEducation/Experience: Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited four-year College or University in Accounting, CPA and / or Master''s Degree preferred. 5+ years'' experience in public accounting and / or accounting industry experience. Demonstrated ability to perform complex accounting calculations and analyze financial data at a high level. Healthcare experience highly preferred. Accounting software; PC; Windows based spreadsheet/word processing package knowledge also required.Other Qualifications: Exhibit strong knowledge of US GAAP principles. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance. Must be able to periodically travel to centers and conferences.
