The Social Media Specialist is responsible for assisting with Envision Healthcare''s (''Envision''s'') presence in the social media space and driving interactions with the public through the implementation of dynamic content strategies across social media platforms. The Social Media Specialist must have a keen understanding of social media, current trends within the space, as well as strong writing and project management skills. Given the nature of the 24-hour media landscape, this Social Media Specialist position requires the candidate to be flexible and available in the event of crisis situations. This position reports to the Director of External Communications and will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to make sure messaging and communications are relevant, accurate and align with the Envision Healthcare strategy and vision.Use your strategic communication planning expertise, proven experience in change management, and strong message development skills to the next level in a national healthcare setting! This is a remote position, allowing the Social Media Specialist to be based anywhere in the country.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Social Media Specialist''s job focuses on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets. You will: Assist with developing and carrying out the organization''s social media strategy, helping to ensure alignment with the larger marketing and communication strategy. Draft social media copy for recruiting and business development across multiple services lines. Using social media monitoring and measurement tools to create, maintain and measure the company''s brand and reputation. Engage with and respond to followers of our social media channels. Actively engage in brand monitoring/listening to inform and further develop strategic influencer outreach and external community management. Assist in account administration duties such as scheduling meetings, gathering assets, following up on communication team requests etc. Attend and co-lead meetings, preparing and/or bringing necessary status documents and providing comprehensive recaps and next steps to the team. Regularly analyzing engagement data and building reports to inform internal and external social media efforts. Interacting with stakeholders via the company''s social media accounts. Staying up to date with social media developments, emerging technologies, communications best practices and trends in the social media universe as well as the competitive landscape. Collaborating with internal communication team and providing support as needed for cross-team projects. Keeping Social Media Manager and leadership appropriately informed of social media campaigns'' effectiveness and recommendations on needed improvements or redirection. Adjusting social media content based on feedback. Adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring that Envision remains as secure as possible.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, a Social Media Specialist must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.Qualifications Excellent writing and content creation skills. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms. Adept at crafting compelling copy and narratives. Demonstrate a thoughtful understanding of industry, brand and challenges. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across a diverse, matrixed team to ensure messaging and programs are delivered quickly, consistently and powerfully across multiple channels and locations. Ability and flexibility in managing multiple, complex projects at a time as well as on-demand issues to drive the work forward. Proven ability to maintain confidential information appropriately and exercise good judgment when communicating. Knowledge of integrated healthcare and social media practices. Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Assist and support the operations of the account on a day-to-day basis, working alongside internal and external team members. Assist in account administration duties such as scheduling meetings, gathering assets, following up on communication team requests etc. Maintain and gather necessary performance metrics. Able to work independently and effectively.Education/Experience Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited four-year College or University in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. 1-3 years of corporate communications, social media management, digital marketing, reporting or public relations experience. Microsoft Office Suite products Collaborative workplace tools, including SharePoint, Teams Social media monitoring and measurement tools (Soci, Zignal Labs, DOMO a plus) Must be comfortable in a work-from-home environment.
