PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO.Description: Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems. Participates in the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems. Plans and coordinates system changes. Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements. Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning. Mentors, leads and trains others.The Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lab Management System Administrator for the Wideband Global Satellite Communications Configuration Control Element (WGS GSCCE) Lab. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Support for the Global Satellite Communications Configuration Control Element (GSCCE) Wideband Global SATCOM as System Administrator responsible for closed area lab.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Colorado Springs, Colorado.Update and Perform weekly system continuous monitoringSupport weekly STIG scans using SCAP and STIGviewer. Including uploading current STIG benchmarksSupport active system Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM)Assist in quarterly ACAS (Nessus) scansA Security+, a CISSP certification, or equivalent Cyber Security certification Required: Minimum 1 year of experience working with Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM)This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
