Nurse Manager Perioperative Quality

A regional leading acute care health system located throughout Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Regional Nurse Manager of Perioperative Quality to join their award-winning organization.This health system is known as a regional leading provider of acute care, primary care, and tertiary care services. The Regional Nurse Manager of Perioperative Quality will join an established teaching hospital that is home to nearly 500 licensed beds. This location is proud to be part of one of the largest regional healthcare systems that services more than 160 towns and cities throughout more than 300 provider locations. This system combines several acute care hospitals, the state''s highest-level behavioral health network, a large multispecialty physician group, a home health agency, a variety of senior care services, and also a large physical therapy and rehabilitation network.Reporting to the Administrative Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with various leadership teams and work cross functionally in regards to the ongoing quality and success of the system perioperative service line. The Nurse Manager will oversee the strategic planning, program development and implementation, operational quality, ongoing performance improvement, and financial reporting and budgeting for the system perioperative service line. Requirements Include:Bachelor''s degree from an accredited Nursing ProgramMaster''s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Business Administration preferredCurrent RN licensure in the state of ConnecticutAORN CertifiedMinimum 2-3 years of progressive Supervisor or Management experienceThis award-winning healthcare system is located throughout the beautiful eastern Connecticut region, an area that offers something for everyone.
