Job Description:The UW is responsible for underwriting and structuring of credittransactions. The UW is able to underwrite credit transactions withminimal oversight from the CO and also approves complex credittransactions with some coaching from the CO/CCM. The UW leads thecredit approval process with assistance from the CCM as needed forclients without CO coverage and is an active participant with the CO incredit approval process for complex clients/transactions. UWs may call oncredit clients and prospects in partnership or independently with the RMand/or CO as appropriate. Provides ongoing management and primaryaccountability for a portion of the monitoring and maintenance activitieson an assigned portfolio or market, including a higher composition ofcomplex client relationships. They monitor clients operating performanceand financial condition to proactively identify issues and opportunities.They deliver financial, industry, economic and other analysis to facilitatedecision making, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies,guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. The UW''s provideongoing coaching and support to other Credit Products team members.They report to the Commercial Credit Manager (CCM) and partnerclosely with COs. General qualifications include: a BS/BA degree, 5+years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwritingand portfolio management, strong communication and analytical/technicalskills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.*Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified.
