Summary: U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is seeking is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician to support site-based operations at one of our key Technology Sector client locations. The main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on equipment items. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring work is performed in accordance with safety procedures through fully understanding site safe work requirements of US Facilities and the client.Effectively communicates with site personnel to understand requirements, solve complex problems, and provide solutions to operational problems.Diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, dryers, compressors, and other mechanical equipment as necessary.Utilizing the building automation system to track and adjust building conditions and the operation of facilities equipment.Performing preventive maintenance on HVAC controls and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Works with low voltage controls and instrumentation as well as primary voltages up to and including 480v.Performing general facility maintenance such as, but not limited to painting, drywall repairs, door realignments, carpet tile replacement.Performing workstation furniture adjustments/setups and conference room set-ups.Utilizing Microsoft Office software (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel,).May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.Two (plus) years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or commercial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.EPA Universal certification or ability to obtain within one year.Must be able to pass a background check as required by US Facilities and clientMust be willing to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.Ability to obtain an appropriate driver''s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.Some physical requirements include: Regularly lift to 50 lbsRegularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffoldingRepetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movementWalk extensively throughout the plant during shiftWork at an accelerated pace in emergency conditionsSpecial Requirements: Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.
