Tax Associate

Ultra is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our tax department. This is an opportunity that includes working on tax research and tax projects as well as tax compliance. You will be part of a team that handles complex tax returns and tax issues. The ideal applicant would be a CPA (or working towards certification) with a minimum of three years of experience in a CPA Firm or in industry with a concentration in tax. You can work well individually and as part of a team, be proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with the CCH ProSystem fx Tax software is a plus. Assist in preparation and review of federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns Assist in preparing workpapers, which consist of calculation and analysis of book/tax differences Accumulate information needed to complete tax work, including interfacing with subsidiaries of the company Assist in tax provision work and preparation Research tax issues Assist on tax audits Assist in preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments
