Having built an array of highly functional software products in house, our tech team provides a fertile learning ground for software and data engineers.Join our team to help design and build the data infrastructure needed to support modeling and analysis of marketing, retention, and more.Why join us?You will be responsible for designing and building pipelines to turn our diverse collection of sources (mostly structured and flat databases, Google Analytics, and logs) into a coherent framework for building models and doing marketing / business / supply chain analysis. In the long run, given your interest, you can gradually shift some time into building models to analyze and make predictions based on these datasets.You will work with our marketing team to make sure we are collecting the data we need to answer the questions we have. You will work with our engineering team to ensure that the data coming in and out of our systems is consistent, to reconcile and combine data from multiple sources, and to help identify gaps in the data and opportunities to collect, create, or transform relevant information. You will also work with the engineering team to design and build our data pipeline, identifying the right tools that connect and build on our existing infrastructure. Responsibilities: Map out our different data sources and understand the data in the context of the business and technical processes that create it Design and build a pipeline to pull that data and transform it into a consistent, coherent format supporting modeling and analysis in BigQuery Identify gaps in the data and opportunities to collect or create new meaningful information Our platform keeps growing and changing. Identify tools and methods to support awareness of system changes: what does a piece of data mean in the context of our systems as they are now? If the systems have changed since last year, what does that same data mean in the old context? Work with the engineering team to ensure our ongoing development continues to feed the pipeline and moves towards greater consistencyJob Details Experience with Google Analytics, BigQuery, and online marketing data is preferred Python, SQL Experience scoping, designing and building data pipelines Experience reconciling messy or inconsistent combinations of structured and unstructured data Effective organization and time management skills Collaborative work style and willingness to work flexibly with both the marketing and engineering teamsEducationBachelor''s degree is preferred but not required; with or without a degree you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and necessary terested in hearing more?
