Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the effective accounting for a variety of liability accounts and complex consolidation activities. Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring the effective accounting for the Company''s Liabilities, excluding Trade Accounts Payable. Focus will be on - Accrued Expenses, Warranty Reserves, Customer Rebates, Sales Commissions, Leases, etc. Prepares reconciliations and ensures the accuracy of liability accounts. Reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting (Liabilities, Consolidation, and Reporting) and is currently one-of-one in the Company. Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 2+ years of experience with a manufacturing company, or division of a large manufacturing company. CPA, CMA, CGMA, or other relevant certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and educate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues. Thrives in environment of continual improvement, both contributing to and supporting change as a cultural element.
