St. Vincent''s Medical Center is a 473-bed Magnet recognized communityteaching hospital committed to continuing Christ''s healing ministry through itsservice to the greater Bridgeport, CT community. Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU)and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) are 14 and 15 bed units which care for many ofthe most acutely ill patients at the hospital. Patients on the units may besuffering from a wide variety of ailments across the medical and surgicalspectrums, including open heart surgery, motor vehicle trauma, stroke andnumerous other diagnoses. We provide personalized, compassionate care to ourpatients through teamwork, humility, and extensive knowledge; always focusingon optimal patient outcomes without compromising the safety of our team,patients or visitors.
