TITLE: Electrical / Interior Packaging Engineer- Body on Frame VehiclesDUTIES: Responsible for the initial design of Interior and Electrical components/systems for Body on Frame PHEV/BEV and Autonomy programs through program approval to establish design feasibility. Ensure that the systems and component designs meet packaging guidelines for design clearances, thermal clearances, functional science target clearances and packaging requirements. Work with AME Process and Standards to meet manufacturing process requirements to establish manufacturability. Lead the resolution of Clash and Clearance issues across Systems and Components team through Step 5 and into vehicle launch, developing design concepts in support of issues resolution. Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to ensure that systems and components are packaged properly in their vehicle environment utilizing the DMU tools and zone coordination meetings, and associated issue tracking and resolution.
