Excellence in this challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement opportunities.Additional duties include the following:Complete necessary maintenance, minor repairs and cleaning of units in a timely mannerCheck equipment for damage upon returnInspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working orderClean all equipment and maintain a clean work areaPaint fleet equipment as directedOperate equipment in a safe mannerOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver''s license with acceptable driving recordEffective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skillsDiligent attention to safetySuperior customer service skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.Demonstrate proper usage of hand tools, including cordless drill, airhose/compressor, buffer, heat gun, propane torch, air tools, tile cutter, saws, auger, fork lift, etc.At United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company, we believe that it takes great employees to build a great organization - and we''re passionate about helping our people grow professionally and embrace teamwork in everything they do.
