We are seeking diversity of thought and experience to drive innovation and help us make fully informed decisions.The purpose and function of the Sr. Technical Specialist position is to provide technical support to Automotive Technicians at dealerships for difficult to repair vehicles. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for fix it right the first-time initiative, support to Service Technical Operations for vehicle validations and countermeasure assistance, and supervision to staff related to staffing, scheduling, and training.Our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for a Sr. Technical Specialist will include:•Ensuring accuracy and completeness of info given to technicians•Developing skillset of associates to ensure direct reports remain relevant in areas of expertise.•Ensuring performance supports objectives of the department and division•Supporting Subject Matter area of expertise•Managing call load efficiencyQualifications:We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Our Company as a Sr. Technical Specialist, you must have:•High School diploma or equivalent•Two years Automotive Trade School or AA in Automotive Technology equivalent•Five to ten years of hands-on experience as a technician•Previous supervision/shop foreman experience a plus•ASE certifications A1-A8 plus L1•In-depth knowledge of complex vehicle systems including terminology used•This position is required to operate vehicles, so a Motor Vehicle Report is required as part of our Pre-Employment Background Check AllSTEM Connections is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
