RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a client in Waukesha, WI that is seeking a temporary to hire AR Specialist for an onsite position.Duties & Responsibilities: In this role, the AR Specialist posts customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit transactions Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, promotions, customer service departments, management and from customers Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries The AR Specialist resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history and credit line Prepares weekly manual deposits Formats and bills monthly jobs The AR Specialist investigates short pays
