Tax Call Center Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Call Center Specialist in Chicago, IL. This is a seasonal position that provides assistance and advice to customers preparing their own tax returns.Duties: Tax Call Center Specialist will be compiling/preparing tax returns for using TurboTax Gathering/organizing and accurately entering customer data in the federal and state tax returns for review Research using online resources to assist with responses Communicate directly with the customer as needed Coordinating customer meetings and follow-up As a Tax Call Center Specialist, you will communicate updates to credentialed tax experts on assigned customers Assistance to customers with specific TurboTax product/software inquiries, as well as tax questions and calculations Applied defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve product and tax support customer inquiries Will interact with customers and team utilizing strong written and verbal skills as well as deep customer empathy
