Accounting System Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting System Analyst in Baltimore, MD.Key Tasks: Accounting System Analyst will review and approve journal entries posted in CoreIntegrator for correctness for all utility funds Locate in Great Plains Dynamics vendor transactions for over 25 construction projects Download purchasing attachments from CoreIntegrator to compile draw request packets to remit to Maryland Department of the Environment for each approved project Request forms and signatures needed from project managers to attach to the draw requests As an Accounting System Analyst, you will create invoices in GP Dynamics to send to MDE for reimbursement for expenditures of the approved loans and grants Maintain the Water Quality Billing spreadsheet which records each draw request, disbursement receipt from MDE, and balance remaining for each loan and grant Send the A/R department copies of the MDE invoices once payment is received and help them research unknown MDE payments they receive through the Maryland Vendors portal Accounting System Analyst will respond to e-mails and correspondence from DPW, MDE, and various agency personnel regarding Wastewater, Water, and Stormwater fund matters Complete ad hoc projects and additional tasks as requested
