How you will make 10x impact:Drive the design of infrastructure and tooling for knowledge graphs to help optimize software development and developer productivityCollaborate with Research Scientists to create and improve code embeddings, code retrieval, reasoning with large language models and knowledge graphsRapidly develop prototypes to evaluate feasibility; dispassionately assess performance and help team scope next steps Scale prototypes into robust systems; act as owner and builder of end to end software systems Work cross-functionally with experts at X and AlphabetBuild infrastructure related to code analysis, visualization and annotationWhat you should have: A fast learner and strong coding skills in Java/Python or other equivalent PLs3+ years experience in information retrieval / search / graph analytics / knowledge graphExperience designing search solutions and performing large scale data processingPassionate about developing the future of software engineeringMS/PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent fieldAbility to work in a small team / rapid prototyping environment and deal with uncertainty and fluidityIt''d be great if you also had these: Familiarity with graph mining / graph neural networks and deep learning libraries such as TensorFlowExperience partnering with ML engineers and research scientists Experience working in a startup or research environmentFamiliarity with data analytics and/or ML modelingAt X, we don''t just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
