As a Recruiting Coordinator, you are part of a team of highly skilled recruiting professionals working on high-volume light industrial positions for SIMOS. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to the recruiting staff in coordinating all aspects of recruiting, tracking, and monitoring candidate information, as well as the selection and hiring of new employees. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: MEDIA & EVENTS PLANNING Monitor effectiveness of all ad campaigns and other traffic-inducing recruiting efforts. Track analyze and report on metrics and effectiveness of our programs. Arranging and participating in meetings, conferences, and local or remote job fairs. Supporting special projects. RECRUITING & HIRING Support the creation of an ongoing candidate pipeline by tracking and monitoring confidential candidate information. Scheduling candidates for interviews, assign start dates, and coordinate onboarding with the SIMOS site leadership. Deliver effective orientations to new associates. Handle the placement of light industrial candidates/employees in warehouse production positions with our client company. Maintain and coordinate activities to include directing applicant traffic and pre-screening. Daily screening and recruiting for hourly associates by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications. Track and report daily recruiting activity. Oversee the background and pre-employment screening process to ensure candidates are completing the process timely. Manage daily information/candidate data tracking. COMMUNITY RELATIONS Develop and maintain short and long-term relationships with event, conference and program-sourced leads- working with the community. Evaluate and implement effective community outreach programs. Establish relationships with local sources as well as traditional recruiting methods for filling positions. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction RELATIONSHIP ENGAGEMENT Provide information to the operations leaders as needed regarding Human resources, Employee Relations, and Safety issues. Work with multiple groups, including remote teams. Effectively manage multiple projects and candidates while preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Strong interpersonal skills while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality at all times. TRAVEL This position requires a very loyal and dedicated employee that can work alone with little direction. Good transportation is essential, as well as a working cell phone. The position requires someone capable of sourcing and assessing associates for a client site - mostly warehouse-type positions. Must be self-disciplined and must produce results. Approximately 10-15% travel may be required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scheduler or Administrative Assistant, preferably in the recruitment industry. Ability to work onsite in the office, Monday through Friday business days/ hours Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and literacy in Excel and Word.
