Scrum Master

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for candidate with experience as Scrum Master with 7-10 years of experience. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Duration: Full Time only - ''Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)." The annual salary for this position is between $[110,000 - 125,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant''s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant''s applicable plans. Job Description and Qualifications include: Required: Discussion with end to end leads for business needs Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework Resolve conflicts and issues that occur Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity Support the product owner and provide education where needed Prior experience on a scrum team Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not Experience with successful Agile techniques Ability to work with and lead a team Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction Education BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment EEO Statement & Accommodations Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
