Delivery Manager

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for candidate with experience as Delivery Manager with 8+ years of experience. Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois Duration: Full Time only - ''Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)." The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000 - 130,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant''s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant''s applicable plans. Job Description and Qualifications include: Required: End to end Delivery of multiple development projects in waterfall, SAFe agile methodologies. - Lead roadmap planning sessions, resource planning, budget forecast for the entire Program - Present program key metrics, Programs'' health dashboards, Red flags to Client leadership. - Manage project timelines, overall project plan, and ensure all projects are delivered as per launch calendar -- Track and Maintain program budget forecast and optimization, capacity utilization, resource allocation / assignment. - Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices - Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments - Work closely with external project managers to finalize scope, timeline and budget for the projects. - Highlight issues / risks and develop mitigation plans. - Use escalation mechanism as needed. - Run daily scrum ceremonies independently - Experienced with Excel - Pivot tables, macros, formulae - Create reports from sharepoint for management - Project coordination with project teams - project planning, scheduling. - Automation and improvements. - Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Qualifications Needed - 10+ years of IT industry experience - 4+ years experience as a scrum master and running a scrum team - 5+ years of running and executing programs with multiple teams. - Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills SAFe Agile certification is an advantage. Nice to have bonus skills Familiarity with Middleware technologies and Microservices. Familiarity with Sharepoint.
