Front Desk Associate: This position services residents by providing information and services. The Front Desk Associate must be self-motivated, outgoing, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Must be able to identify and organize resources to provide personal service expected by residents. Able work independently and without direct supervision. Job Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty. ï‚ Must be self-motivated, outgoing, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service. ï‚ Must meet and greet residents, check guests and service providers in and out. ï‚ Must be able to identify and clarify resident''s needs and desires. Must answer questions and give direction and instructions and develop inventories of services. ï‚ Able to work independently and without direct supervision. ï‚ Anticipates services required by ascertaining mood and style of residents, identifying options, developing itineraries. ï‚ Improves services by obtaining and evaluating resident observations opinions, and criticisms. ï‚ Maintains guest privacy and organization reputation by keeping information confidential. ï‚ Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner. ï‚ Monitors and screens messages. ï‚ Controls access for authorized vendors to provide services within units to the building. ï‚ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks. ï‚ Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting and accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. ï‚ Maintains daily log, records and forms. ï‚ Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues. ï‚ Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property (s). ï‚ May be assigned other duties by the on-site property manager. Additional Duties & Responsibilities ï‚ Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. ï‚ Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. ï‚ May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. ï‚ Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. ï‚ Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. ï‚ Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility None. Education & Experience Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
