Maintenance Supervisor

Position Purpose:Responsible for the supervision and continued development of the plant Maintenance Department, which entails associates, facility and equipment.Essential Functions:Supervise periodic and incidental machine maintenance to insure its completion in an accurate, safe and timely manner.Supervise direct reports activities including work rules, safety programs, attendance, and discipline. Establish and promote a participative environment and pro-active union avoidance program. Seek ways to expand communications and associate involvement.Oversee completion of preventative maintenance schedules according to equipment manufacturer''s recommendations, while insuring that necessary components and parts are purchased as required or directed.Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction.Ensure entire department complies with all safety standards and regulations.Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by complying with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.Lead in performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed, including emergency repairs with outside vendors.Site lead for SPCC, SWPPP, and all environmental activities. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Education and TrainingBachelor''s Degree in Engineering, or other related degree program or equivalent experience in applicable area is acceptable.Minimum QualificationsMust have 2-5 years maintenance or engineering experience.Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems.Familiar with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls a plus.Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizations.Familiarity with forging preferred, but not required.Machining and welding capabilities dividual should be computer literate, Microsoft Office applications.Familiar or ability to learn iMaint System and other computer maintenance software.Hands on systematic individual with attention to detail.
