Controller CFS2021 CFSNOV2021 About the company and opportunity Reputable agriculture company with over 60 years in the business Family oriented culture Company is vastly growing with numerous opportunities for growth Our client loves to promote within Provides an onsite chef too cook lunch for their employees Generous PTO plan Offers a 7:00 am-3:30 pm schedule Responsibilities of the Controller Oversee and perform all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and revenue recognition Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the company including month end journal entries, account analysis, budgets, and forecasts Oversee month, quarter and year end closing entries Manage external audits Prepare financial reporting and analysis Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting, reporting and tax filings Qualifications for the Controller role Bachelor''s degree in business administration, accounting or finance At least 5 years of related experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical skills Knowledge of QuickBooks, is a plus
