Senior Accountant - Silver Spring, MD! About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a leader in the construction industry and has been around for 50+ years! Due to growth, they are hiring a Senior Accountant in their Silver Spring, MD. office. The leadership team is dedicated to employee success and love to promote from within. Position is 100% in office, but overtime can transition into a hybrid position. Pay: $35-$40/hr depending on experience. This position is temporary and can go permanent for the right candidate at a salary of $80,000 a year! General ledger accounting through month-end close. Perform bank reconciliations. Perform various account reconciliations. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts. Develop and document internal processes and workflow. Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree 3-5 years'' experience is preferred Proficient in Excel is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills CFS2021
