AR/AP Clerk

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable clerk for a uniform business located in Neville Island, Pa. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with a starting pay rate of $20 per hour. Please Apply Now! Responsibilities: Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. • Verifiy validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers • Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries • Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures • Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line • Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report • Work within payroll system to verify timeclocks and submit payroll. • Pull reporting to run commissions monthly for outside sales representatives Requirements: 2+ years of accounts receivable experience Degree in Accounting a plus Pay starts out at $20 per hour Monday through Friday daylight hours Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits package in the industry to contract workers.
