Corp Training Spec IIJacksonville, FL basedJOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Supervisor of Talent Development, the Corporate Training Specialist II will be responsible for the creation and delivery of a wide range of manager and colleague professional development training - including classroom, online instructor led, self-paced learning, and course development. The Corporate Training Specialist II constructs, conducts, and analyzes training needs-assessments across the organization and uses the resulting data to create new courses and tools, enhance current offerings, and coach leaders and colleagues on solutions to close skill gaps. Serves as an internal OD consultant to managers and colleagues across the organization helping to identify development needs and solutions.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitates learning programs in both large and small group settings demonstrating outstanding professionalism, facilitation, and coaching skills in all training formats, for all levels of learners - colleagues to managers.Creates training plans, new training courses (ILT and vILT) and materials with minimal supervision. Has wide latitude of discretion to determine content, format, delivery, and tools, such as quick reference guides, participant manuals, and slide decks. Updates and proactively enhances existing courses.Assists in determining ROI measures during the design phase.Analyzes, tracks, and incorporates results.Analyzes and interprets data from formal needs assessments and multiple sources, including but not limited to, personal observations, requests from managers, and focus groups.Conducts research using internal and external sources. Synthesizes and incorporates findings into recommendations and development projects.Actively seeks to build strategic relationships in the organization that support knowledge sharing and business insights.Uses Cornerstone Learning Management System extensively for all classroom, virtual, and performance managementevents. May set up session, enroll participants, assist colleagues, close sessions, and create reports.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor''s degree in Human resources, Training and Organizational Development, or required or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.Familiarization with Cornerstone LMS or similar learning management systems a plus.Nationally recognized training and assessment accreditations and certifications a plus.GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Experience constructing, conducting, and analyzing basic work team needs assessments across multiple disciplines.Highly skilled at determining knowledge gaps and developing appropriate high quality solutions.Ability to independently establish strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with manager, colleagues, and training stakeholders across the organization.High level of creativity; ability to evaluate and address training and development needs in a fast-paced and changing environment.Demonstrated strong knowledge and application of adult learning, and leadership development methodologies and best practices at a broad organizational level.Excellent communication and collaborative skills.Excellent project management skills.Strong knowledge of general business operations leadership and management theory.Must be highly organized and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Must maintain a high energy level, optimism and ability to effectively facilitate multiple projects while performing day- to-day activities.Must be self-motivated, and possess highest level of personal initiative.PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTS:For roles located in office or home settings; this job is primarily sedentary and may involve repetitive motions; the colleague is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, speak, and hear.For roles located in the field; this job is primarily active; the colleague is regularly mobile and must be able to utilize transportation (such as driving), sit, use hands and fingers, speak, and hear.The colleague is occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift objects (up to 10 lbs. weight; up to 4 ft. height).Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to see things from a close distance and ability to adjust focus.The work environment utilizes florescent lighting; noise level is moderate.The emotional demand of the job may cause undue stress from, but not limited to, moderate/heavy workload.Reasonable accommodations will be individually assessed and possibly made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Ability to travel within the U.S. approximately 25% of the timePlease be advised the job description is subject to change at any time.
